Container Charges Against Shipowners, Consignees, Consignors or Applicants

Container Lifting Charge

Charges are for the use of Ranong Port gantry crane or for using ship crane or private crane for discharging or loading container from/to vessel at the berth. Charges are collected at the following rates :-

Container Wharfage Charge

Charges are for the use of berthing place for moving container from/to vessel which are as follows :-

FCL or Empty Container
(1) Discharging from vessel and make direct delivery or moving to container yard waiting for delivery or
(2) (2) Loading onto vessel, vice versa of (1)

LCL Container
(1) Discharging from vessel to container yard and moving to unstuffing area for unstuffing and storing cargo at storage area or make direct delivery and then moving empty container to yard or
(2) Loading onto vessel, vice versa of (1)
           However, the operation of moving container, cargo unstuffing or stuffing must be done by applicants.
           Charges will be collected according to the status of container as follows :-

          LCL inward container discharging from vessel, unstuffing and cargo loading onto vehicle for taking out of the port area or storing cargo at storage area and then loading empty container onto vessel, the container wharfage charge will be collected as specified in item 302.3.

Container Delivering/Receiving Charge

           Charges are for the use of Ranong Port or private equipment for lifting FCL or empty container, for lifting cargo off inward LCL container onto vehicle for taking out of the port area, or for lifting outward container, entering into the port area, off vehicle for loading onto vessel. The charges will be collected according to the status of container at the following rates :-

304 Container Storage Charge

           Inward container which is discharged from vessel and is not taken out of the port area or outward container entering into the port area for loading onto vessel is granted the free storage period of 3 days following the complete day of discharging the vessel completes her final discharge or the entered day. Dangerous container is granted the free storage of 1 day following the complete day of discharge.
           Empty container which changes its status from inward LCL container, charge will be assessed commencing from one day following the day of unstuffing of such container unless such container is still in the free storage period.
            After the exemption period, charge will be collected daily at the following rates :-
