401.1 Admission Fee
            Fee for vehicles and equipment entering into the port area is assessed from the type of inward vehicles and equipment as follows :-

 

401.2 Fee for Staying in the Port Area

           Fee for vehicles and handling equipment staying in the port area exceeding 24 hours commencing from the time of entering will be collected daily at the same rate of Admission Fee as specified in item 401.1 
           Fee for handling equipment parking in the port area as specified in item 401.1.8 and 401.1.9 will be collected from 8th day onward at 50% of the prescribed rate.
           Fee as specified in item 401 includes Value Added Tax (VAT).

           Fee for the use of vacant area for stuffing empty container, office, storage of equipment, handling equipment or other assets within the port area will be collected at the following rates :- 

 

 

 

 

Remarks Hire of Handling Equipment
           1. Hire is assessed according to real time operation .
           2. In calculation for working hour in consequent to the first hour, fraction of an hour but less than half an hour will be taken as half an hour, more than half an hour will be taken as one hour. 
           3. Charge for handling equipment hired for work outside the port area will be collected at 2 intervals :-
           - On the way, the rate of hire will be the normal rate.
           - During operation, the rate of hire will be double the normal rate.
